... but keep it quiet, as it is our little secret

Fr Charles has introduced a rather splendid tradition that involves us holding a Group Eucharist Service at different churches when there is a 5th Sunday in the month. The most recent service was at St Margaret’s Well.

We seem to have developed a winning formula as this service copied earlier Group Services in offered Karen Gooding’s choir, a full house, superb weather and hospitality to match as we all enjoyed tea and biscuits on the veranda after the service.

St Margaret’s Well is a beautiful church in a sensational setting and this was the backdrop to a memorable service. The singing, inspired by the wonderful choir, threatened to raise the roof and was enjoyed by the entire congregation. The choir are a great asset to our churches and they offered us a special bonus of a solo from a very young member of the choir and she sang like an angel.

In these circumstances it is not difficult to feel near to God, and we did. Our next Group Service is at Beesby on Sunday 30th November at 11am, but let’s keeping the date a secret because if everyone knew how special these services are they would all want to come and we would have an overcrowding problem.
