From Mothers’ Union Prayer Book.

Almighty and everlasting God, heavenly Father,
We thank you for your great love to us.
We pray you to change the hearts of those who like their problems
to be solved in the way of war; by killing innocent people all over the world
and making themselves glad when destroying important places.
They have forgotten you.

Living God,
Forgive them and send your Holy Spirit to open their hearts and minds
So that if they carry their troubles to you, all can be solved in a peaceful way.

We pray you to save your innocent people during this sad time, and protect them.
Through Christ our Lord.
