Is It Me ?I have just read a short article in the Saturday Telegraph indicating that a Government Department (Department for Children, Schools and Families) have given the right to Muslims, Hindu, or Sikh faiths to have eight statutory days off each year on the dates of their choice, under new cultural flexitime arrangements, to mark their own religious festivals. On the traditional Christian Bank Holidays they will not be required to attend at their workplace but can work at home, which has got to be a joke, especially for receptionists and filing clerks etc.!!.Is this a massive first Government nail in the coffin of this great land of ours as a Christian country? Have we voted for this, and how can such a decision be taken without massive protest - or is it just me? David Simcox
